Good morning. It is Saturday again and time for us to practice meditation. Very simple. Sit down in the way you feel comfortable. No matter where and how. Give yourself a good moment to be and let go of everything. Let’s begin by listening to the bell.
Nam Mo Shakyamuni. Mu A Mu Sa Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng.
May all sentient beings be free of suffering and receive compassion, wisdom energy from all Buddhas from ten directions. May all be happy, peaceful, and mindful with every thought, Verbal language, and actions.
Let’s put the right hand the wisdom hand on top of the left hand the compassion hand. Today we talk about pure energy through our practice the meditation that we know. In life every day that we interact with people with the environment surrounding us with all whatever that we call technology, there are energy influences within our physical, mental and spiritual. That is why sometimes we feel comfortable with very peaceful energy. Sometimes we feel uncomfortable that could lead to uncontrol of our emotions or actions.
We all note, that is a different energy influencing within us but very hard to recognize until something has gone wrong. Then we recognize, oops, that is wrong. A lot of times the energy we could call negative energy that is driving us crazy and creates so many thoughts which is not very healthy. Taking our mind away that makes it very hard to concentrate or relax to enjoy our life. Or we get lost. Practicing meditation with me is very simple. We return back to our mindful breathing technique and connect with all Buddhas to purify our energy every second of our life. So therefore, we can enjoy life with peacefulness around it. With everybody with no interference from any negative energy which creates trouble for us. We all know everything happens for a reason. There is a reason for us to purify our energy for us to be peaceful. It is ok when things happen wrong, which is not right with our own perspective. But however, it always happens for a reason, a reason to know ourselves much better every day and to take care of ourselves with the greater energy we call forgiveness to others or forgiveness to ourself. Forgiveness to ourselves is most important. Forgiveness is the key to purify our energy.
Let’s begin. You know there are two mantras we practice already. The first one Mu A MU Sa is the compassion mantra. When we are reciting Mu A Mu Sa, center our thought within and relax. We will receive a very good energy from all. We need Buddha in our life to help us, to remind us. Compassion energy from him is wonderful. No matter what happened yesterday or the day before or whatever. We all come back to the compassion energy now to know that we are still who we are and all our friends will always be there, our family will always be there.
The second mantra, Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng is the wisdom mantra which is connecting us with the light from the enlightened ones for us to become much better. To see ourselves improve but to not deny what we dislike or to reach too far what we expect about our own self.
May all the sentient beings be free of all kinds of suffering and may every one of us purify our energy by the compassion and wisdom from all the Buddhas from ten directions and my all our friends, our loved ones, our parents, family, community, society always purify their energy in the very good hand of the Buddha. May all be peaceful and happy.
Let’s breathe in, expanding your belly, hold it there for three seconds, that is how we do it. I just remind in case there is someone new. When you breathe in, you breathe through your nose. You expand your belly to carry more oxygen down to the lower body. You just hold it right there for three seconds to warm up the oxygen. That is naturally how our body works. Then you focus by the heaven gate point which is in front of the tailbone. Just pay attention there. With your mind pay attention right there. The energy will run down there. Then you sunken your belly and you breathe out. The energy will flow along your backbone. After the top of your head and then while you are doing that you are chanting the first mantra, the compassion. After that we repeat that circle of the breathing technique and then we recite the wisdom mantra. Remember, the compassion energy is just like the oil you pour into the lamp. The second mantra is like the light lighting up so you can see through the darkness. In which you are performing you are purifying all of your energy. That is all we do, that is all we do. Let’s begin.
Breathe in, expanding your belly, hold it there for three seconds concentrate by the heaven gate point. Breathe out, sunken your belly, chanting the mantra:

Just be silent and keep doing the breathing techniques. Be mindful. Observing the energy flowing within you. Now we are reminded by all scientist that say if at nighttime we sleep like near the phone or near the computer, or put our head close to any machine running, the frequencies from those very easily interfere with our brain, and it damages our brain. That is a truth. Now we understand about frequencies much more than before. We understand that if we learn about scientists, we all know every subject, every object, everything within there is energy which creates a frequency flowing around it. Sometimes you want or you don’t want, no matter what, that frequency intercepts and gets in, and messes up our thoughts, our health. In order to center our life. We have to think everyone, everything, independently have the right to be their own. So therefore, we never allow ourselves to blame because of something that makes us to do something wrong. Buddha reminds us. Always learn not to control, but to be. In order to center and stabilize our lives to be with all, the techniques we teach to do that is to purify our energy all the time. The energy that changes every day every moment. As long as we are alert and fully awake to be aware and transform it. We will be ok. Because things create it and be as it is. Not need to create the creator again to fix everything, but need to be aware, alert. But fully awake that we will be aware of everything. Then we can enjoy our lives. Sometimes we get lost. That means we are not awake at that moment. We allow some kind of negative energy or negative thought taking over our mind. Therefore we are lost. We don’t even know what is going on until something goes wrong. Then we say of my God. Where are you? How dare you make that happen to me? But we actually do it ourselves. But we try to blame God or someone else. Then we run away. Whatever mistake we make. Pure energy helps us to have a pure thought. To maintain our pure energy, we have to purify it every moment. It is just that simple. You know we need a special attention to take care of our life. It is very easy. Through our practice we will do it very easily. In order to practice we learn, we study, and through all the practice that we do, we improve slowly. It is ok to make a mistake. But it is not ok to repeat it the rest of our life. It is ok to make a mistake, and it is ok to correct it. Correct it by practice. That is why we practice every day. That is why we practice every Saturday for us always to be and connect our physical body, mental and spiritual stage with compassion. Mu A Mu Sa is a very special mantra. It is the key just like when you are driving your car. Without a key, either actual or memory key, That key is helping us to turn on, to connect it, to start. Mu A Mu Sa is the compassion key to turn on the special connection between us and all Buddhas from the ten directions. Turn on that key please. As long as we turn on that key we receive a very good energy. As a human we get distracted by so many things around us. So, we get lost. You know sometimes you are holding the key in your hand, but you walk around still looking for it. Even to go back to your home. If you don’t know where your key is the door will lock you out. Mu A Mu Sa is the key to open the door to step into your home. Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng is the switch to turn on the light. We will be able to see through everything. That is important to purify our energy. We need the Mu A Mu Sa Key and turn on the switch Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng. As long as we use the key to open the door and turn on the switch to turn on the light we get to know ourselves much better. Yes, when you practice mindfulness meditation in and out expanding your belly, absorbing the oxygen, and focus on the heaven gate point and purify the energy to be different to run up your backbone. As you recite Mu A Mu Sa and Nam Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng, you are filled with the energy with the special vibration. It will liberate yourself away from the darkness or negative energy. A way of driving force of that energy so we can convert it to be better. Recycle is the technique we use. Negative energy is kind of energy within us our body, our mind receives it. We just need to recycle it for a better use. We will be ok. Purify energy. Does not mean rejecting. Does not mean pushing away. We accept, purify, recycle it. We have that opportunity to do so. It does not mean in life that we have to work to push or kick the negative energy away to move all people who are negative away. To make the choice to be with the best. What could be the best this moment, and then no longer. Buddha teaches, all phenomena is impermanent. It is always moving from good to bad from negative to positive. So therefore, no need to use a lot of energy to push, to reject or to make a good choice. But pay attention to purify. Whatever is there that happened is there for us to learn to keep purifying our energy. To receive all. To welcome a pure energy that is there for us to be. Our meditation focuses on energy and purifies energy for better health for our thoughts, physical body and spiritual.
The two mantras work. Almost 50 years I have been practicing and teaching to many friends. It benefits a lot. No matter whether I see you in person or long distance. Together we become a good network so we can connect with the better energy in our life. Let’s rejoin with the better energy. From the Buddhas in the ten directions from then compassion and wisdom so we can stabilize our life so we can have a pure energy within. So we can enjoy our family, our loved ones and the community. No matter what happens there is a reason. We have the power to purify all kinds of negative energy to return to the right place to enjoy our life with friends. No matter what has happened. We all are best friends to each other. We are best friends to each other. We all reach out to each other to purify the energy for us to enjoy our life. Don’t because of something going wrong make us sad, make us feel bad. We are ok. We learn to forgive, and we work on our special purification techniques to purify our energy. We all practice together. We are ok to make mistakes. We fix it every day. We are ok to do something wrong when we lost our thought. But yes, we forgive to make it different for the next. Purify energy is the technique that is very helpful for us. Don’t let something else distract you away. Always practice. It is good to have a master to remind you. A master is a friend, a best friend. Children have a mother or father to remind them to do their homework. You know there are some friends our there when parents are reminding them all the time. A master is the best friend to remind. You have a best friend who is like me to receive a special reminder. Ok, I am going to do my homework. So you don’t get lost in those kinds of games. Life has so many games that are so attractive leading us away. Now for us to have a good reminder. I fully volunteer to be your reminder every Saturday. We are friends, best friends forever. Remember Buddha says we have the power to purify our energy to make our life much better every day. You don’t have to depend on anything that happens at the moment and hold your life back and suffer.
Now we go back to the breathing techniques to return back to who we are to live happy peaceful and enjoy for this weekend. Put the right hand and left hand together and now look.
At this moment we recognize mistakes happen for a reason. Yes, with the Buddha’s teaching we can purify all energy and recycle whatever we have done wrong to correct the wrong to be right and enjoy life. We are all friends in a good network to promote and motivate our good energy to be with our Buddha. May all sentient beings be free of suffering, happiness be maintained for us to enjoy life.
